報名得選擇poster only, 3MT (三分鐘學術簡報) only或poster+3MT。選擇poster者須上傳摘要；3-MT者需上傳PowerPoint檔報告內容。

For abstract submission, all registers can choose either poster only, 3MT (3 Minute Thesis Competition) only, or poster+3MT. Those who decide on a poster need to upload an abstract; those who decide on a 3MT need to upload a slide file for presentation (PowerPoint file).

1.  Poster摘要限以英文撰寫，內容須包含1. 投稿學會 2. 英文題目 3. 姓名 4. 服務單位 5. 摘要內容 (字數限制為250字)。

The poster abstract can only be written in English, and the content must include 1. Affiliated society; 2. English title; 3. Author names; 4. Affiliation/Institution; 5. Abstract content (word limit is 250 words). 

2.  3MT的PowerPoint檔限為2頁，包括 1 個包含演講標題、姓名和服務單位的標題頁以及 1 個內容頁。製作投影片請務必下載3MT範本做修改，且勿更動投影片尺寸大小，如更動導致報告內容遭刪修，概由作者自行負責。

The PowerPoint file for 3MT should be 2 pages only, including 1 title page containing your talk title, name, and affiliation, and 1 content page. Please download the 3MT template to modify for your own slides, and do not change the size of the slides. The author is solely responsible for any loss of data or technical problems with the presentation due to changes in the slide size. 

3.  投稿期間均可自由修改標題與上傳檔案，一旦投稿截止則不得修改，請務必於投稿截止前確認上傳內容，大會手冊(電子版)內容將根據您上傳的資料彙整。

You are free to modify the title and content and re-upload the file before the abstract submission deadline. After the submission deadline, no further edits will be allowed. Please confirm the uploaded content before the submission deadline as the content of the program book (electronic version) will be presented based on the information you have uploaded.

三分鐘學術簡報的核心概念為把艱深專業的知識用科普的語言3分鐘傳遞給社會大眾瞭解。

• 演講時間最多為3分鐘，超過3分鐘者將被取消資格。

• 演講應以英語口語方式進行（例如，不得以詩歌、饒舌或歌曲形式進行）。

• 當演講者透過動作或言語開始演講時，即視為演講已開始。

• 允許使用一張靜態的PowerPoint投影片。不允許使用轉場、動畫或移動效果，並且必須從演講的開始呈現。

• 不允許使用額外的電子媒體（例如聲音和視頻文件）。

• 不允許使用額外的道具（例如服裝、樂器、實驗室設備）。

• 評審團的評分為最終的決定。

The core concept of 3MT is to convey difficult and professional knowledge to the public in three minutes using popular science language.

• Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.

• Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g., no poems, raps or songs) in English.

• Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.

• A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations or movement) and is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.

• No additional electronic media (e.g., sound and video files) are permitted.

• No additional props (e.g., costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.

• The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.

參賽者根據最高教育程度分組（包括即將取得學位者和已畢業者），組別為學士、碩士和博士資格的參賽者。

Contestants are grouped based on their highest level of education attained (including both prospective degree holders and graduates), ensuring fair and dynamic competition among participants with Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD qualifications.
